Circles

About the Circles

Circular painting is something that has interested me for some time, yet I've only done a limited amount of them in my lifetime. the first circular mural I painted was "Richard's Dream" (shown in the Gallery page). I had done one circle prior to that on a 4 foot diameter illustration board. It was a collage of many animals randomly placed on the paper with the background arbitrarily painted between the animals to form a rational composition. It was colorful and pleasing to the eye. It reminded me of Noah's Ark. Unfortunately it became missing over time and I only have a picture of it in my mind. Maybe I'll just do it again some day.

      Moths

The moths shown are indigenous to the Northeast section of the country. The types depicted are, ............... My friend Richard Reilly inspired me to do them by showing me some pictures of the lovely insects, that live unseen by most. Because they don't usually appear until dust is why we don't see them, but if you've ever spent sometime outside on a warm summer evening near a porch light you may have had a chance to see some of them.

   Life Cycle

An ideal environment , created for this particular group of insects ad animals  in which  to live and die. Undisturbed by any other will allow them to find each other and one by one they will devour each other until there is nothing left, not even a leaf on a tree.

   Skate Rapture

Not only is the dog on skates, but the cat skates upside down under the table. The skating nymph mystically  floats out the window, caught  in the wake of Rolo's Projection path. She is so light with fancy she leaves her shadow behind, stuck to the floor forever.

  Skate World

Beyond  Virtual reality is astral projection. Projecting allows one to be there, experiencing the present, forgetting the past and anticipating the future. Your desires are realized in the flash of what the mind can deliver. Don't hold back. let yourself go and take a cruise through skate world.

  Frog Pond

This painting is a classic Rolart composition, done with no advance drawing. Inspired by Dali and other artist I met while astral projecting. This is just one of the many environments that I've visited and since I found this one Particularly interesting, I decided to paint a picture of it . Of course there are many question to be answered but I was much to busy trying to capture some of the details of what it was.

  Fish

A birds eye view makes it easy to not only see the fish, but catch them too.

    The Storm

Originally painted as a mural on a wall in Allston.

click here to see exclusive pictures of the original mural which was 12 feet in diameter and actually extended onto the ceiling with the clouds ending in a spiral around the light fixture in the middle of the ceiling.

  Afring

A mural,  9 feet in diameter contains the faces of some great Afro-Americans i.e, Nat Turner, Martin Luther King, Harriet Tubman, Malcom X and  Angela Davis
